Child Safety Standards
Last updated: [Last Updated Date]
[App Name] is operated by [Company Legal Name] Limited. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, and any sexualisation of minors.
Our standards
- Users must be at least 13 years old (or older where local law requires). We remove accounts of users we find to be under age.
- Any content or behaviour that sexually exploits or endangers children is prohibited by our Terms of Service.
- When we find or are told about CSAE, we remove the content, permanently ban the accounts involved, and preserve relevant information as the law requires for investigators.
- Our moderation team is trained to recognise and escalate CSAE reports, and these reports are handled with the highest priority.
How to report in the app
- A message: long-press the message and choose Report.
- A user: open their profile and choose Report. You can also choose Block so they cannot contact you.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency services first.
Reporting to authorities
We report apparent child sexual abuse material and exploitation to the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through its CyberTipline, and to the relevant law-enforcement authorities in Hong Kong and other countries as required by applicable law. We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
You can also report directly to:
- NCMEC CyberTipline: report.cybertip.org
- Hong Kong Police Force: call 999 in an emergency, or report to your nearest police station
- Internet Watch Foundation (UK/international): report.iwf.org.uk
Contact point
Our designated child-safety contact can be reached at [childsafety@yourdomain.com] (or [support@yourdomain.com]). This contact is able to speak about our CSAE prevention practices and compliance.
